Wow! The summer came and went so fast! I hope you had a great one. My family went on a lot of fun camping trips. A highlight was a trip to the Finger Lake Region in New York, and then up to Niagara Falls, which is just amazing. Then Promised Land State Park in PA, South Portland, Maine, and Amish country in Lancaster County, PA. It’s always fascinating to live for a few days among the “Plain People” with endless fields of corn, cows, and the horse and buggies.
Rosh Hashanah is right around the corner! It’s late this year – October 3 & 4. Check out the beautiful handmade pieces on sale below and see our entire Rosh Hashanah collection (new Gary Rosenthal pieces will be added this week). Wine stoppers are always a great gift idea!
The honey dish on the left is made by Emily Rosenfeld and the apple and honey dish on the right is made by Shraga Landesman. They are both handmade and beautiful!
The hair ties/bracelets below are by American Jewel. The rich colors of the bands, and the beautiful symbolism of the charms, makes this a wonderful gift for any occasion!

The Choral Taharat Ha Kodesh Synagogue is located in Vilnius, Lithuania and was opened in 1903. Jews came to Vilnius in the 14th century. Prior to WWII, the Jewish population reached 100,000 with 105 synagogues. The old Jewish Ghetto in Vilnius had eleven synagogues on just one street at the same time. Nearly the entire Jewish community of Vilnius, as well as the synagogues, perished during the Holocaust.
